BIM Operation & Maintenance: The Client Benefit
The video posted here is an abridged version of a presentation and BIM demonstration we gave at BIM Show Live 2013 and more recently at Faithful & Gould’s The Intelligent Campus event.
Since 2009 we have been working on a series of advanced BIM enabled projects for Birmingham City University at their City Centre Campus. The first phase of development, the Parkside Building, has recently been completed.
We have been working with the University, the main contractor Willmott Dixon and others to establish a structured cloud based platform for information post construction using the Autodesk BIM 360 Field software.
The video demonstrates the operation and maintenance BIM platform the University will be using for the Parkside project with a view to expanding its use across their estate.
