I’m hoping at this point you’ve had a chance to learn a bit about the newly released AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017. I thought I’d take a few minutes to provide some background on the changes that we’ve made and the impact that these changes may have on your workflows. Note that there’s quite a bit to talk about in this new release so I’ll keep this relatively high level. We’ll then follow up with more targeted topics over the coming weeks and months.
Before I go any further, however, I’d like to thank all of the people who contributed to making this such a great release. This includes the Civil 3D product team and the teams that deliver the foundation that we build on (e.g., AutoCAD). We also want to thank our customers and partners who’ve been heavily involved in scope definition, validation of solutions and testing of beta product throughout the product cycle.
