RTC 2016-Day1

Today was the first day of the North America Revit Technology Conference.

During the keynote Jim Balding interviewed Autodesk HP and Nvidia where HP talked about Project Slone where a auntie the building was modeled by clouds sourcing which was really cool. On the floor they showed off a mobile computer backpack by HP and Nvidia where the 3D model can be walked through with a Virtual reality deceive. Ashraf Habibullah the keynote speaker had a great quote “that structural enginerees save lives every time the wind blows.”

I went to a presentation by Steven Shell “the Rock and Roll Architect” about the Top 10 Revit Presentations Techniques. Despite some technical deficulties Steven had a great presentation. One of the points Steven had was about entourage content was to control what is seen by the level of detail of the view.
