The team here at Autodesk has been busy working on a number of improvements to existing features and added new workflows that’ll have a big impact on your productivity. I’m happy to say that a number of these changes are now available for use with AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017.
The AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017 v1 Enhancements benefit customers using Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D, Autodesk Infrastructure Design Premium and Ultimate Suites, and AEC Collection subscription customers.
I’ve broken these improvements into the following buckets:
Previous version extensions that have been updated to run on AutoCAD Civil 3D 2017. These include:
- Rail Track Layout, drafting and content – note that we made a number of improvements to our rail tools on R2016 and R2017 including rail crossings and connections, tables and more.
- Civil Engineering Data Translator which enables Civil 3D users to share civil/survey project data such as alignments, profiles and surfaces between Civil 3D and Bentley products
