Friends,
It’s that time of the week, where I sit down in front of the typewriter once again. Following last weeks R-rated confession; I want to talk about a topic, where the absolution of my sins are not needed; instead lend me your ideas and passion.
It’s a bit a surreal to think of how welcoming this community has been to me since we were first acquainted in the outskirts of Washington D.C. less than two years ago. One thing is to create professional bonds; but rarely, in any other ‘conference’ setting have I forged relationships where so many connect on a personal level. Some of you I now count as personal friends; and to me, this is just one of the things that makes this global community special.
Earlier this week, I had a long conversation with the gentleman that introduced to me to all of this. We had not talked for a while; and it was good catching up on both professional and personal matters. Here’s to you, Mr. Parley Burnett (@parleyburnett), who would have thought…
