Autodesk Revit: Mirroring Elements

When you mirror an element in Revit, you need to use a “mirror axis”. This is a plane along which the element will be mirrored. You can either define this plane yourself (at the time you perform the mirror function), or you can use an existing plane in the model- such as the face or centreline of an existing element. I’ll show you both methods in this tutorial. Let’s first look at the method with utilises an existing plane to form the mirror axis.
