Autodesk Revit: Pinning Elements

One of the best features of Revit (and there are many) is that it is very easy to edit elements once they are in your model- including moving them. It is also very easy (often “too” easy) to delete elements. Take the simple model below…..

 

 

We could simply hover over any of the 3 elements (the 2 walls and the table) and click (and hold our left mouse button) and drag those elements to a new location. Conversely, we could just select one of the elements and hit the “delete” key- and it’s gone! But what if you wish to safeguard against accidental movements and deletions?
