We don’t tout every other event out there that’s relevant to our industry (there are many you could attend), but personally, I have a soft spot for the AMCA’s events. Sumit Oberoi (Executive Director) and I go back a ways, dreaming up ways to achieve industry improvement over a beer or two. Since he’s handed the reigns for the event to Shannon Thomas (BIM-MEP AUS Manager), who’s similarly passionate, I can’t help but feel compelled to support the AMCA and its events where I can. I’ve attended several, and spoken at some as well, and it’s very well run, and a credit to the team at the AMCA.
