It’s September already…no posts in August…time flies.
This post is brief, merely a referral and suggestion. If you struggle with understanding Revit’s coordinate system then have a look at THIS LINK to Autodesk’s own Documentation.
In the past I’ve been critical of the documentation they’ve provided on this subject, if not in posts here then certainly while talking to people about it face to face. Often their attempts at clarity are too brief, such as “When you click the Turn this off button it turns the selected thing off”. Yes sometimes things are, or appear to be, self evident. Help documentation should provide background information that helps us care and understand the reason it exists. In this case I think the information shared via the above link attempts to do just that.
