As Autodesk is integrating the whole AEC space from prelimary design to project delivery, the common data platform in the cloud (BIM 360 docs) becomes more and the single source of truth for all stakeholders during the whole process.
This has also been picked up by third party developers, who have started to create add-on tools using our cloud based development platform: Forge.
