Often, we have only a PDF of a 2d floor plan that we want to use as the basis for our Revit model. This tip shows you an easy way to bring a PDF into Revit so you can trace it. Unfortunately, as of Revit 2013, we still can’t bring an actual PDF in. However, it’s easy enough to convert the PDF into an image that can be brought in. I also show you how you can properly scale the import so that the dimensions are correct.
