- By 2018, NASA will send the first mission to touch the Sun — the Parker Solar Probe mission is set to send a spacecraft the size of a small car directly into the Sun’s atmosphere.
- By 2025, humans are expected to be sent to an asteroid — this is all part of NASA’s mission to capture and redirect an asteroid to orbit the moon.
- By 2050, 10,000 people are expected to have visited space — in addition, people are expected to live in permanent colonies on the Moon, Mars, and stations deep in space.
- By 2100, 1 million people are expected to live off of Earth — that is only ~80 years away!
- By 2100, mining and manufacturing take off to space — predicted to be positioned on asteroids and…
