A well established firm in Kent engaged in utility surveying with the latest technology and techniques is seeking a BIM (Building Information Modeling) Manager to apply Digital Construction and Information Management methods at the design, construction and handover stage of the project.
Duties and responsibilities:
1. Organizing BIM leadership and advice
2. Developing BIM strategies and execution plans
3. Delivering BIM project models
4. Developing and controlling the project’s BIM documentation (incl. BIM implementation Plans, Master Information Delivery Plans, Model Production Delivery Tables, Task Information Delivery Plans)
5. Connecting with principal stakeholders to understand their BIM requirements
6. Providing BIM training internally (if / when necessary)
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE OR QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Prior experience functioning as a BIM Manager
2. Wide-ranging Aecosim and Projectwise experience
3. Outstanding written and oral communication skills
