Autodesk recently launched Revit 2019.2, the first update to Revit 2019

The most striking feature of this upgradation is the transition to cloud computing. Cloud Models for Revit is the latest feature that automatically coordinates BIM 360 and files and saved them to your desktop. Thus, one can get rid of uploading files manually for distributing them. 2019.2 also allows the users to preserve Revit models in the cloud devoid of worksharing them. Now, the individual users will be able to accumulate their models on BIM 360.

Simultaneously, Autodesk has introduced a preview of its Cloud Model Upgrade, so that BIM 360 project admins get the ability to automatically update cloud-stored files to the most updated version of Revit. The upgrade signifies that admins can modify the file formats with a single click of mouse without requiring to go into the files and manually alter them. The current preview alters projects from Revit 2018.3 to Revit 2019 format.
