BIM delivers benefits throughout the building project lifecycle. Make better design decisions, build efficiently, manage and maintain building portfolios effectively. BIM methodology supports projects throughout the lifecycle of design, construction up to the operation of the building. This presentation will touch on the implementation of BIM in theory and practices based on experiences gained from various projects.
Dr Mohd Harris Ismail is actively involved in Modern Method of Construction (MMC) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) consultation, research, teaching and training throughout the ASEAN region. His passion for advocating BIM is translated into his active involvement in providing BIM consultancy and coaching to the industry while being an MMC system provider & contractor. He speaks at various international and local events, such as GeoSmart Asia Conference 2016 & 2017, RICS International BIM Conference 2015, 2017 & 2018, BIM Day 2014 to 2016, Glodon International Conference and Summit 2017 & 2018, series of Lectures by PAM and many more. He is also being recognized by BIM Institute of Malaysia as the BIM Level 2 Coach and Trainer and being appointed as patron for Draftermal Association Malaysia 2016 – 2018.
