Overview
The Port of San Diego serves the people of California as a specially created district, balancing multiple uses on 34 miles along San Diego Bay and spanning 5 cities. The Port manages a diverse portfolio to generate revenues that support vital public services and amenities. The Port’s Civil Designer, Victor Travis, started working with ATG in 2017. The Port uses the AEC Collection, specifically Infraworks and Civil 3D, extensively on many projects. When Victor’s department has technical questions and issues they need resolved, they immediately turn to Rob Bigelow, ATG Director of Civil Services. “We called on Rob to help us write our CAD manual, which is over 100 pages long and is distributed to anyone who does business with the Port,” said Victor Travis.
