How to download and install the latest version of Revit, for free.
To start, I’m going to search for Revit Student. All of the download links can be found in the description.
From here, I’ll need to create an Autodesk account. Follow the prompts and confirm that you are a student. This will give you one year of full free access.
If you aren’t a student and wish to use Revit, you can still download it for free and use it with a 30 day trial.
On the same page, click “explore our free trials”.
If you are using Revit for commercial work, you’ll need to purchase the subscription.
Once you download the installer, you can click the setup.
Make sure you download the correct content libraries
It can take up to a few hours to install as it is a large program. Mine froze at 97% at work and I had to leave it overnight and it finished.
