Layers are a powerful tool in SketchUp that allow you to separate different parts of your model, making it easier to work on specific components and control the appearance of your model. In this tutorial, we will walk you through the process of using layers in SketchUp.
Step 1: Create a new layer
To create a new layer, go to the Layers panel (usually located on the right side of the screen) and click the “Create New Layer” button. This will create a new layer with a default name (e.g. “Layer2”) and a default color (usually red).
