Revit Architecture: Adding Fixtures to Ceilings

In this Revit Architecture tutorial I show you how to load and place Component Fixtures onto Revit Ceilings. I also show you how to correctly align them onto a Suspended Ceiling Grid.

For the purpose of this tutorial, I am going to use a simple rectangular building with a ceiling element already placed into it. I have picked a “suspended ceiling grid” type for the ceiling- so that I can show you how to align the fixtures once you have placed them onto the ceiling. This mimics the workflow you would adopt if you are setting out light fittings in a commercial environment.
