1- SILHOUETTES

Go to graphic display options and set them at 0.5mm.

2- CAST SHADOWS

They are great to show the geometry of your building.

3- SET SHADOWS INTENSITY AT 15

Default shadows are too intense. Set them at 15 in lighting menu.

4- DEPTH CUEING

New and awesome feature from Revit 2017, you can now fade elements based on their distance. Activate it and play with the settings to get the perfect fade.

LINEWORKS ?

Don’t use them, they are not compatible with depth cueing and cannot be included in view template.

AMBIENT SHADOWS ?

They are too dark in black and white. Only use them with colored views.

COLORS ?

Use black and white for construction documents. Consistent colors can be great for presentation elevations. In this case, you can also use ambient shadows.
