Way back when I first started using Revit which was before Autodesk changed the interface to Ribbon the type selector was always available and wasn’t buried on the properties pallet. I was reading a forum a couple of months ago now where someone mentioned pinning the Type selector to the quick access tool bar. I tried it and have really gotten to like it. So much so that when I open past version s of Revit that I hadn’t doen this to i get frustrated that it’s not there at the time I want it.
To add the type selector to the quick access bar is actually really easy. Open the Properties menu then Right click over the type selector. From there a dialog box opens up asking if you want to either Add to the quick access toolbar or Add to the Ribbon Modify tab.
