Now that the BILT NA Committee workshop has wrapped, the Speaker Acceptance emails will be going out very soon. If you’re not accepted, the good news is that you’re among great company.
About 90 speakers were selected to present just over 100 sessions from over 360 submissions. Don’t take it personally and look at the bright side: come, learn and relax knowing that you don’t have to carve 80 hours out of your already busy schedule to prepare a session for this year’s conference in Toronto. And you can still contribute by adding to the conversation during sessions.
For those of you who’ve had your proposal accepted, there’s a lot of work ahead. You know it’s not a good idea to dial it in because you’re speaking to attendees with very high expectations. So get to work (Carl :).
