I am hosting a free workshop next Thursday, June 9th at 4 pm EDT. The workshop is titled Create Your Own Revit Add-in in 90 Minutes. During the workshop, I’m going to share my best tips for creating Revit add-ins and walk you through the process of creating your own add-in in 90 minutes (or less). No coding experience is required!
Also, I will be teaching a new course in a couple of weeks called The Revit Add-in Academy. In this six-week course, I’m going to take you through the process of creating your own Revit toolbar using C# and the Revit API. We’re going to create a series of useful tools that will be accessible from Revit’s Add-in ribbon. I’m also going to show you how to set up your code for multiple versions of Revit as well as how to use Github to better manage your project. It’s going to be a lot of fun and at the end of the course, you’ll have your own Revit toolbar that you created.
