Last week Stefanie and I got out for a few hours just West of town 20 miles to exercise our day permit we had got a few days ago into the Three Sisters Wilderness and to hike up to Broken Top Mountain (a collapsed volcano), the Bend Glacier, and the beautiful blue-turquoise No Name Lake from the Broken Top Trailhead in the Deschutes National Forest.
